My Life as a Walking Oxymoron

 Michelle Sagara

I've discovered a new author and she is very talented. I picked up her first book in the current series I'm interested in because her cover looked interesting. I simply fell in love with the book! The characters, the settings she does a great job of explaining w/o being overly detailed. And even while each book is a story into itself, it keeps you wanting more, because you know there's a bigger picture.
I'm an avid Harry Potter fan and was so sad, and delighted, when the last book finally came out. I no longer had anything to look forward to each year, other than getting a bit older. But this new series has fulfilled that need. I am tempted to read a few of her other series, however, I'm not sure I can handle waiting for two books each year. But I am sure the books are wonderful.
Well that's really all for today... Just had to rave about my new found author that is now added to my list of favorite authors.
Have a wonderful day!

 Anger

You Are 30% Angry
You're occasionally angry, but it's really not an issue.
While you may give in to your temper once and a while, you're pretty mellow.
And as long as your anger doesn't effect your relationships, then it's probably in check.
You know that anger is a bad habit - and you don't engage in it often.

 Seduction

Your Seduction Style: The Natural
You don't really try to seduce people... it just seems to happen.
Fun loving and free spirited, you bring out the inner child in people.
You are spontaneous, sincere, and unpretentious - a hard combo to find!
People drop their guard around you, and find themselves falling fast.

 No Summer

Well I haven't really seemed to have to much of a summer so far, and its almost over. Usually I'm running around all over the place and trying to find times for things and now I don't have hardly anything to fill my time. Usually its only like that for the first two weeks, then its all go after that. Its actually kind of depressing, anyways, I really really wanna go up to Arkansas and stay a couple of days with Lisa but I really doubt that's gonna happen. But oh well it'll be ok.... I need to read my summer books for English!!! Really badly and I've only started on one and apparently I should've started on another one.
I GOT A 27 ON MY ACT!!!! That is soo exciting for me, especially since Jesse, one of the smartest if not THE smartest person in school, got the same score, TWICE! But he's just not good at the timed test, and like DADDY said all that proves is that I'm a good test taker. It still makes me feel smart though!!!
Yeah I really guess those are all the recent developments in my life so far, have a good rest of the summer!
God Bless,

The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations." --ANAIS NIN

 One Solitary Life

Nearly 2000 years ago in an obscure village, a chile was born of a peasant woman. He grew up in another village where He worked as a carpenter until He was thirty. Then for 3 years He became an itinerant preacher.
This man never went to college or seminary. He never wrote a book. He never held public office. He never had a family nor owned a home. He never put His foot inside a big city not traveled even 200 miles from His birthplace. And though He never did any of the things that usually accompany greatness, throngs of people followed Him. He had no credentials but Himself.
While He was still young, the tide of public opinion turned against Him. His followers ran away. He was turned over to His enemies and sentenced to death on a cross between two thieves. While He was dying, his executioners gambled for the only piece of property He had on earth- the simple coat He had worn. His body was laid in a borrowed grave provided by a compassionate friend.
But 3 days later this Man arose from the dead- living proof that He was, as He had claimed, the Savior whom God had sent, the Incarnate Son of God.
Nineteen centuries have come and gone and today the risen Lord Jesus Christ is the central figure of the human race. On our calendars his birth divides history into 2 eras. One day of every week is set aside in rememberance of Him. And our two most important holidays celebrate His birth and resurrection. On church steeples around the world, His cross has become the symbol of victory over sin and death.
This one Man's life has furnished the theme for more songs, books, poems, and paintings than any other person or event in history. Thousands of colleges, hospitals, orphanages and other institutions have been founded in honor of this One who gave his life for us. All the Armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the governments that ever sat, all the kinds that ever reigned have not change the course of history as much as this One Solitary Life.

I hope y'all enjoyed that as much as I did. I'm not gonna put a quote on the end of this post cuz I don't think that this could be improved in any way. Ciao! Oh and HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!
GOD BLESS,
~Deidra Joy~
